Cousins!

A few weeks ago we headed down to Connecticut to visit Auntie Jen, Auntie Cole and their new addition, RitaMarie. Emily was so excited to meet her new "cousin" she had to pick out a pretty dress and draw pictures for the baby. Congrats Jen and Cole, she is beautiful.
While we were visiting, we celebrated Abby's second birthday with my family. The girls got to spend some quality time with their cousin, Kaleigh. Thanks everyone, Abby had a blast.

Valentine's Day with the Driscoll's

Dave, Keelie and Delaney came for a visit last month. We took advantage of the great weather and went for a hike behind our house.

The boys.
Everything was frozen but so beautiful.

Abigail's Crush

Friends of ours came up for a visit about a month ago. Tommy and Nina were not spared all of the major attractions in the area. Fun Spot, Patrick's Pub, Giuseppe's and the Great Meredith Rotary Fishing Derby. Yes, I said fishing derby. I would not be surprised if they are "busy" the next time we ask them up.This is about all the excitement we experienced. It was freezing out on the lake!
Harley Davidson Bob HouseIt took her all weekend, but Abby finally felt comfortable enough to sit on Tommy's lap. Both were happy with that decision. :)

Winter Wonderland

A few weekends ago, Todd and I took advantage of the nice weather and took a walk with the girls in the woods behind our house. Emily had a great time trying to find deer tracks with the hopes of said tracks leading her to an actual deer. No such luck- the biggest animal we have seen in our yard is a squirrel. Aside from that, we had a great time.

Three Christmases

Our Christmas holiday started with dinner at Nana and Pada's house with Uncle Bobby, Aunt Bethany, Stone and Dashel.

On Christmas Day we invited our friends, the Blackwelders, over for dinner. Usually Kris is the one who does the cooking but seeing as she just gave birth to her daughter, Brynn, less than a week prior we thought we would give her a break. The boys deep fried a turkey...it was delicious. Our final Christmas was spent with my mother this past week. Grandma made the trek up here for a few days. The girls were very excited to have their Grandma up for a visit.Grandma with Abby before bed.

Gingerbread Houses

A few weeks ago the girls and I went to our local library to make our own gingerbread houses. The kids loved it-what kid wouldn't love a candy covered table and cups of frosting. I am surprised that any of it actually made it onto the gingerbread houses.
