Abigail's 1st Birthday

I contemplated documenting anything about Abigail's birthday due to the fact that is was not as big as Emily's. People say that as a parent you tend to do things differently with your second child and I have to agree. I don't rush to the doctor as quickly, bumps and bruises are not life threatening and I have an easier time letting Abby cry while in her crib. I just didn't want that to apply to birthdays. That being said, we had a nice Sunday afternoon Hart's Turkey Farm dinner followed by "ladybug" cupcakes with Nana, Pada and the Blackwelder family. Thank you everyone for celebrating Abigail's birthday with us.

Birthday Girl

Clark. Is he just the cutest??

In lieu of a birthday cake Sandy ordered "ladybug" cupcakes to go with the rest of the theme. Ladybugs they were not, we still can't figure out what they were supposed to resemble. To be honest, they were a little scary. Sorry Sandy!

Abigail didn't care what the cupcake looked like. She had no problem eating it all up!

Winter Fun!!

Todd and I spent some alone time with Emily today while Abigail was taking her morning nap. We forgot how much fun playing in the snow can be. So much fun. We went walking in the yard, sledding and we even made Emily a tunnel that she can slide down the hill through. Very cool.

Daddy's idea!Off she goes..don't worry Mom, she was fine.
Before.
After.

Even T fit through the tunnel.

The more we went down the tunnel the faster it got. Tons of fun. We are now getting ready for another 10 inches of snow.

Yet another snowstorm...

Yes, we had more snow recently. I think I appreciated snow days more when there was a possibility of missing work. Seriously though, we had a great day playing outside, sledding down our "mountain" aka snow bank, pulling Abigail along the driveway in her sled and playing on the swing set.

Emily's New Bike

Santa gave Emily a brand new bicycle for christmas this year. The other day was the first day that it was warm enough and the driveway clean enough before she could actually ride it.

Happy Birthday Auntie Cole!

We traveled down to CT a couple of weeks ago to celebrate Nicole's/Auntie Cole's 30th birthday.

Emily loves giving presents as much as she loves receiving them

Abigail loved the cake!!!

Rub-a-Dub-Dub

I absolutely love listening to these two play with each other and laugh.

Nothing makes me happier.
