Halloween Part II

Every year the Gilford Elementary School has a Halloween parade.  The kids and teachers dress up and walk down the street to the Village Store and back to school.  There were some great costumes this year!

We continued our Halloween with friends trick or treating.

Halloween

We ventured down to CT for Erin's annual Halloween party.  The kids had such a great time.  I don't know what they liked more, all the candy and desserts or the fact that it snowed over a foot while we were there.  The kids had so much fun!

Auntie Ann Comes to Town

We had a fun filled weekend while Auntie Ann came for a visit.  She got to experience the wonder of Gilford Parks and Recreations soccer jamboree that seamed to go on for days.  I think she deserved a medal by the end of it, not the kids.  :)  We visited Beans and Greens for some fall fun. Finishing the weekend with a hike up Piper Mountain to enjoy the foliage.

Early Christmas for the girls...and mom and dad.  Nerf guns are so much fun!
4 games, low temperatures = lack of enthusiasm for 6 year olds.  Yes, they are actually in a game in this picture.

Prescott Farm Harvest Festival

This past Saturday, Prescott Farm had a Harvest Festival.  It was a beautiful day and they had a ton of things to offer for the kids.  The great thing was that majority of the activities were free of charge.  The girls were able to ride ponies, walk oxen, get there faces painted and go on a horse-drawn hay ride.

Snack time...notice the look on Brynn's face.  Not happy!
Aside from Em's eyes being closed, I love this picture.

This rock was the biggest hit of the whole festival.

Dance Class

Emily and Abigail  are both taking dance class this year.  Abigail is taking Pre-ballet and Tap.  Emily is taking Jazz and Tap.  Those of you who know me know that most of my knowledge of dance comes from the TV show So You Think You Can Dance.  The important thing is that the kids are happy and love it. :)

The only video I have of Abby is with my phone and I can't figure out how to get it onto the blog.  Here is a link to my Facebook page to see video.

Abigail's First Day of Preschool

It was a bittersweet day when Abby went to school.  In my mind, she is still my little baby.  After Todd and I dropped her off, I noticed some moms crying.  One woman was completely devastated.  T looked at me and asked me why I wasn't crying. I was asking myself that same question.   At first, I felt a little cold-hearted until I realized that I was just so proud of our little girl and how grown up she is.  Don't get me wrong, it was a little strange not having my sidekick around.
 So excited!

 Abby loves her Daddy!
 All set!
This is how we left her.  Smile on her face.
