Fourth of July III

We ended our holiday weekend with a cookout at Laconia Country Club with Nana and Pada. Kids had a blast in the various bouncy houses and Simplicity the Clown. Surprisingly, Emily made a new friend, Mason. We ended the evening with a fireworks display. A great way to conclude a wonderful weekend.Abigail

Fourth of July II

We continued our holiday by visiting The Old Country Store and Museum in Moultonboro, NH. It boasts to be "perhaps the oldest in the United States." A store since 1781, it is 228 years old. The store offered anything from NH Maple Syrup to Tinker Bell knick knacks to a old fashioned, penny candy counter. Emily especially loved it for the penny candy counter.

Fourth of July

This past Fourth of July Todd and I decided to play tourist. We headed to Weirs Beach and walked the boardwalk and played at the various arcades. After which we headed over to Meredith to have lunch at a restaurant called the Town Docks. We had such a great day!

Emily playing in the sand at Town Docks. Great place to eat with kids, it is right on the lake and the back patio is all sand for the kids to play in. Sand toys included.
That night we had our friend Kris and her son, Clark, over for dinner.Great thing about New Hampshire, fireworks are legal. Todd, Emily and Clark watching our neighbor's firework display. Almost put the Extravaganza to shame.

The Driscoll's Come for a Visit

Dave, Keelie and Delaney came for a visit a few weeks ago. It just so happened to be the first nice weekend up here in a very long time. We sat by the fire pit, went to the beach and even dared a trip through Wiers Beach during Bike Week. Needless to say, we had a great time!
