Old Home Day 2011

Old Home Day is a huge event in many towns in NH.  There is a parade, crafts fair and fireworks at night.  It was reminiscent of my time spent at the Ganza in Newington.  The kids look forward to the parade in hopes of getting as much candy as they can.  This year we decided to go back in the afternoon to watch one of our friends perform, as well as the fireworks.

Emily had a fun-filled day on her actual birthday.  We had a play date, went fishing, went to the beach and went out to dinner at Town Docks.  Busy, busy, busy.

Emily's 6th Birthday Party

This year Emily wanted a big party with all her friends.  Her only request was that there be a bouncy house and we were glad she did.  Her theme this year was Tangled.  The girls all got braids to put in her hair and the boys were given crowns.  We even had a craft of decorating  a lantern.  The party was a huge success and the kids had a great time.

Cousin Emma

Todd's youngest cousin Emma came to NH for a week to take a break from the Texas heat.  The girls got along great.  They got to celebrate each others birthdays together, spend time on the beach, and go on the boat.

Beach Party

Every year the town beach throws a big party with to celebrate the end of the summer.  This year the theme was pirates.  The kids competed in sack races, three legged races and water balloon toss.  The girls had a great time.
