Emily's First Dance Recital

We signed up Emily for dance this year. It was hard to wrap my head around leotards, ballet slippers, putting her hair up in a bun for class, dance positions...the list goes on. This past weekend all of Emily's hard work paid off and she got to perform on the big stage with her friends. We were very proud parents watching out little girl dance the night away.

Hiking Belknap Mountain

Todd, the girls and I went hiking a few weeks ago. Emily walked to whole way up and the whole way down. The key to our success was to make her the "Boss", her responsibility was to find the trail markers and lead the way. It worked out great.

Visit with ReRe and KiKi

During April vacation I headed down to CT to visit with ReRe and James. My sister and I enjoyed a nice girls night watching Fame and eating Chinese food. The movie was so-so but the company was great! I am looking forward to another girl's night with my big sis!
This is the only picture we could get of the three of them sitting. They were on-the-go the minute we arrived.

After my visit with Erin I headed down to my friend Keelie's house for another girl's night. Keelie's brother-in-law and his girlfriend were kind enough to watch the girls so Keelie and I could have a nice grown-up dinner out. So much fun! Emily and Delaney enjoying some quiet time.

Double Trouble!!

Thanks Erin and Keelie for a great time. I can't wait to do it again soon!

Sunday Lunch in Wolfboro

We decided to head over to Wolfboro the other day. Wolfboro boasts to be "America's Oldest Summer Resort". It has a very quaint feel right on the water with several shops and restaurants. One of the neatest finds was a place called Crepes Ooh La La. The girls opted for ice cream, while Todd and I shared a crepe filled with cheesecake, graham cracker crumbs topped with a dark chocolate sauce. It was ridiculous! The girls watching our crepe being made.

They are so much fun to watch.

( I apologize about the underlining, I can't seem to get rid of it!"

Easter

This year we spent Easter with Nana and Pada and enjoyed a wonderful dinner. The Easter Bunny was very generous with the candy and gifts, which thrilled the girls. Happy Easter!
