Blueberry Picking

My friend, Kristin, and I took the girls blueberry picking before the season ended. I always get so excited to pick fresh fruit. Then I get home and am completely overwhelmed with the prospect of having to DO something with all this fruit. Lots of blueberry pancakes and muffins. The girls had fun and that's what matters. :)

Happy Father's Day!

We spent Father's Day this year with Nana and Pada on their boat. The weather was beautiful and despite being a little chilly, the water was very refreshing. We were lucky enough to find this great little swimming hole and while we were there we witnessed a sea plane take off right in front of us. It was just another reminder of how cool it is to live where we do.
